So you’ve decided to learn guitar! We commend you on your choice and have just the course for you. In this 12-lesson series, pro guitarist Doug Boduch will walk you through the process from the very beginning, teaching you everything from the parts of the guitar and basic technique to learning chord progressions, strumming patterns, scales, and licks! After that, you’ll get a quick refresher lesson to make sure you’re still applying proper techniques so you don’t develop any bad habits that you would need to unlearn later on. Then you’ll learn to tune the guitar by ear, which is an essential skill for when you find yourself without an electronic tuner.

Other topics include open chords, strumming patterns, using a capo, the minor pentatonic scale, fingerpicking, basic lead guitar techniques, and more. You’ll come away with a nice collection of chords, licks, and other concepts that will continue to serve you as your musical journey continues.
